Nachdem ich bereits einige Bücher zum Thema Strick-Graffiti und Street Art besitze, habe ich mir kürzlich dieses kleine Büchlein zugelegt. Das Buch hat zwar einen englischen Titel und die Sprache ist mit englisch angegeben, aber das Vorwort ist sowohl in englisch als auch in deutsch abgedruckt. Der Text ist mit einer einzigen Seite äußerst knapp gehalten, sagt aber das Wesentliche über den Inhalt des Buches aus. Es folgen 85 unkommentierte Seiten mit Abbildungen von gestrickten und gehäkelten Street-Art-Objekten aus der ganzen Welt. Ich bin fasziniert von der Vielfalt, der Kreativität und auch von dem Mut der Künstler. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut. Wer mehr zum Thema wissen möchte, dem kann ich die Bücher "Knit the City" von Hoffmann und Campe oder "Strick Graffiti" von Knaur empfehlen.
Ganz nette Ideen, von mir im Ramsch gekauft. Dafür ist es ganz gut, mehr aber auch nicht. Erfrischenderweise wurde auch im Vorwort auf die Ideologisierung wie in einem anderen, von mir rezensierten Buch "Strick-Graffiti verzichtet
